The technology behind Bendex Round.
Our radiators aren’t just of the best design, but also stand out from competitors, with cost-effective and efficient features.
The basic idea behind heating a residence is to have a radiator with an electronic thermostat in each room that regulates the temperature without being affected much by what happens outside of the room. This usually works great, and the heater has long been lauded for its precise heating and thermal comfort.
Residences with open floorplans, however, put some strain on this. Radiators struggle to work together and are affected negatively by large air-masses or the presence of an air-to-air heat pump. This leads to worse thermal comfort and wasted energy.
Our solution for this problem is Bendex Round ECO, which can be easily complemented with a wireless central control system.
Bendex Round uses the best available technology to regulate temperature, with a fast-acting electronic thermostat.
In contrast with older open or slow oil-based electric radiators, the heater reacts and adapts quickly to changes in room temperature caused by anything from sunlight to a well-attended birthday party.
It quick adjustments lead to energy savings and prevent excessive and uncomfortable temperatures.
This stability and comfort is a hallmark of Bendex Round.
The radiators are convectors. It meens that they generate convective heat, drawing in cold air at the bottom through the principle of underpressure which serves to activate a hot air circulation. Convection is the easiest and fastest way to heat a room.
TEMPERATURE
Maintains an even temperature in the room.
Temperature stability ±0.1°C
DIRECT
Air is heated directly. No sluggishness.
High efficiency.
ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT
Uses an electronic thermostat that reacts
lightning-fast to bonus heat and turns off
completely at 0.5°C above the desired room temperature..
The electronic thermostat samples the
temperature every 40 seconds and adds
heat to the room only when needed.
Bendex Round ECO can be complemented with a small radio receiver that communicates with a discreet and stylish wall-mounted control unit (thermostat).
This wireless option for the heater works just as well in residences with an open floorplan as it does in rooms where you require extra comfort, such as a bedroom. With the press of a button you lower the temperature, a good night’s sleep ahead of you. After six hours the radiator returns to its standard setting, ensuring you’re warm and comfortable by the time you get up.
An airing feature prevents the radiator from straining needlessly when you’re opening a door or a window to let in fresh air. In other words, there’s many energy-saving features that add to the already efficient radiator.
The wall-mounted control unit can be placed anywhere within 10 meter of the radiator, and is entirely wireless. Naturally, several radiators can be controlled with just one unit.
